I’m very happy to announce that I did two episode commentaries on Shout! Factory’s new Space: 1999 Blu-ray set, one for “Dragon’s Domain”, and one for “The Metamorph.” It was great working with my pal Daniel Griffith of Ballyhoo Motion Pictures to create these commentaries, and I hope you enjoy them. Please let me know in the comments below what you think.

The set will ship on July 16th, just over a week from now, and you can get it online at the Shout! Factory website here: https://www.shoutfactory.com/product/space-1999-the-complete-series?product_id=7103 or from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Space-Complete-Blu-ray-Martin-Landau/dp/B07QKVVKQH

Here’s a review of the set by Bill Hunt of The Digitial Bits: http://thedigitalbits.com/item/space-1999-complete-series-shout-bd?fbclid=IwAR32J-n0skeSXvovgcu_Y422fCqnd4vsf4-sTIcPseLVR2Ipk7H5qSbD-_s

It’s time again for the Atlanta Days Of The Dead convention, happening this weekend at the Sheraton hotel downtown. I had a good time at their inaugural show last year, and I’m looking forward to an even better experience now that they’re actually IN Atlanta. I’m looking forward to seeing my pal William Stout, and lots of horror stars that have never appeared here before including Danny Trejo, Clu and John Gulager, and many more. I just wish they’d add more classic horror guests and events to their roster. Maybe next year…

For the full skinny on guests and programming, take a look at their website at http://www.daysofthedead.net/atlanta/

See you there!

Here’s actual proof that I used to have a lovely head full of hair, thanks to the diligent screen-capturing skills of Mark Maddox. This is from a scene in the James Garner – Shirley Jones – C. Thomas Howel movie TANK from 1984, in which I was a featured extra.  Here’s a scene (that I am NOT in):

All together, I worked on TANK for five days, and had a great time. According to Mark, it’s currently available for streaming on NETFLIX, so take a look. The photo above is from the scene just after the biker’s jump a motorcycle into the mud to try and tow the tank to safety. As always, I’m a villain. 😀

San Diego Comic-Con 2012

San Diego Comic-Con 2012

I’m heading out to San Diego this week for Comic-Con – its hard to miss if you’re there, just head for the south water and follow the flocks of fans. No panels or signings this time around, though I’ll probably stop by the Hermes Press Booth (#450 if I recall correctly) if you want a Mike Trim book or anything signed.

Richard Starkings of Comicraft and writer of Elephantmen took the photo above – he’s already out setting up his booth (#2106, tell him I sent you). I’ll be there Wednesday-Monday, then I’m heading up to Los Angeles to do some business and see some friends. Do get in touch if you’d like to meet up!

For more information, why not take a look at http://www.comic-con.org/cci/

More frequent updates when I return. I’ve got more art by Rich Smith to post, as well as at least one or two podcasts…
